SIKA DESIGN Lounge Chair Chill Rattan

Chill was designed in late summer 1961. It was the first piece of furniture Nanna Ditzel designed after her husband Jørgen Ditzen's death in April 1961. The armchair is made of Indonesian sustainable rattan. The chair is made in the colour nature, which is original and suitable for every occasion. The seat and back are braided on a frame of rattan by skilled wicker workers. This chair fits into a home with plenty of space.

Danish Sika-Design is known for its attractive, handmade rattan and wicker furniture. Ankjær Andreasen founded the company in 1942 and named it after the delicate and elegant sika deer that is called sikahjort in Danish. In addition to high quality, the requirements Sika-Design has set for its products are comfort and sustainability.
