The shelf Mixrack Floor Shelf S is a further development of his previous design products exclusively made for Maze: Mixrack Shoe Shelf and Mixrack Storage. Much of the design therefore feels familiar. Both the metal wire and the frame itself comes from two classic Swedish steel manufacturers in Småland (which is where basically every nice thing in Sweden originates). The shelf is as durable as it is sustainable. Environmental sustainability is a central point in Tapio Anttila's design philosophy and the shelf is made of robust, powder-coated metal wire, sturdy oak veneer (top shelf) and lacquered mdf (the rest of the shelf).

Swedish Maze has made minimalistic and functional interior design for homes all over the globe since 2003. All production takes place in Sweden and in collaboration with Swedish craftsmen, which enables quality control of production and awareness about environmental impact - from idea to final product. It's all in line with the "Slow Production" vision, producing and offering long-lasting design, made by professionals with decent wages and healthy working conditions that minimize our environmental imprint.
