L-Shelf is a wall-mounted bedside table and a continuation of Maze’s first product. The shelf is based on an original concept from Maze’s archive—only now put into production. L-Shelf is made in oak or walnut veneer with a plywood core that is visible along the edges. The chamfered and mitered edges highlight the construction and create a distinct expression where the meeting of materials is clearly visible. In the walnut version, the light plywood core creates a clear contrast against the veneer, while the oak version has a more cohesive appearance, with the veneer and edge close in tone.

Swedish Maze has made minimalistic and functional interior design for homes all over the globe since 2003. All production takes place in Sweden and in collaboration with Swedish craftsmen, which enables quality control of production and awareness about environmental impact - from idea to final product. It's all in line with the "Slow Production" vision, producing and offering long-lasting design, made by professionals with decent wages and healthy working conditions that minimize our environmental imprint.
