The Pastille system is based on a particular assembly, which makes it possible to create various types of furniture. The uprights and planes of the furniture are assembled at 45 degrees, an angle that guarantees strong stability by the triangulation thus created. The pellets used as screw covers punctuate the furniture in contrast because they are made of a different wood species from that of the furniture, or in a colored natural linoleum.
