The region of Marcala, south-west of La Paz, is known for the exceptional quality of its coffees, probably the best in Honduras. At the present time, the majority of plantations are Typica, a variety that has adapted particularly well to the climate and altitude.

Christophe Servell, founder of Terres de Café, has been travelling around producing countries for years in search of the best coffees in the world, and opened a first store in Paris in 2009. The brand selects the finest coffees from around the world with the desire to buy coffees from sustainable agriculture as a priority, and to work on the long term with the partner producers. They bring the greatest precision to the different roastings in order to offer a "French-style" interpretation of what coffee should be.
