Pilke Signature 95 Pendant Birch brings a touch of the grand Finnish forests into your home. The Finnish forests have been the backdrop and birthplace of everything from legendary rally drivers and the Moomins to wood artisanry and the darkness that makes the Finns some of the world’s experts on light, so it’s only fitting that they have inspired Pilke’s signature collection. The lamp combines traditional Finnish craftsmanship with modern computer design that allowed the designer Tuuka Halonen from Pilke to create a lamp consisting of small wooden plates without glue or so much as a single screw.

Pilke Lights is a Finnish lighting brand focusing on sustainable wooden designs that combine traditional handicraft techniques with innovative technologies. With designs inspired by Finnish forests, the brand aims to create meaningful designs that last from one generation to another "classics of tomorrow". Pilke is best known for the Pilke Signature Collection designed by Tuukka Halonen and crafted from Finnish plywood. The brand is a part of the Swedish design company Maze Interior and the brands of Maze are all built on the values of what they call ”Slow production” where local production, responsible recycled and natural material selections, and avoidance of air freight are some of the key aspects.
